In this theme gbAutoClose is set to false, yet the calendar automatically closes when you click on a date. I was about to report this as a bug but took one more look at it. The plugins.js has this code in it, effectively overriding the setting.

Yes, you're right. You may override any function by re-define it in the plugins.js.
