I have tried to use a CSV document to insert dates into my calendar using the following FAQ: http://www.calendarxp.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=251

However, I am confused as to what the fields need to be named to get them to correctly populate the calendar? It feels like there is information missing from this FAQ entry. Or am I missing something? Wink

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Andy

1st, you must test it on a web server - the fLoadScript only works if the content is located on a web server. Local file system won't work.

2nd, you need to name your csv as "events.csv" or change the script accordingly.

3rd, you need to specify the fgcolor and bgcolor depending on the theme settings, otherwise you may get a black block. e.g.

Code:
2010,4,22,abc test,,white, red,,,FREE Concert at National Geographic.

Please consult tutorials for more details of the meanings of each parameter.

1) This IS on a web server.

2) I DID change the name of the file in the script

3) I have now specified the bgcolor and fgcolor in the columns. It is STILL not pulling the data in. Here is my data:

Code:
2010,4,22,FREE Concert,,white, red,,TRUE,FREE Concert at National Geographic.                       6pm - Mark Sherman - Tim Horner Quartet        7:15pm - Oscar Williams Jr. and Perfected Praise,
2010,4,24,FREE Concert,,white, red,,TRUE,FREE Concert at Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola.                     12:30pm - Mark Sherman - Tim Horner Quartet        2:30pm - Oscar Williams Jr. and Perfected Praise,
2010,6,3,FREE Concert,,white, red,,TRUE,FREE Concert at National Geographic.                       6pm - Chen Lo and the Liberation Family           7:15pm - Little Joe McLerran Quartet,
2010,6,5,FREE Concert,,white, red,,TRUE,FREE Concert at Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola.                     12pm - Chen Lo and the Liberation Family              2pm - Little Joe McLerran Quartet,
2010,6,17,FREE Concert,,white, red,,TRUE,FREE Concert at National Geographic.                       6pm - Charlie Porter Quartet                                   7:15pm - The Student Loan,

2010,11,4,FREE Concert,,white,red,,TRUE,FREE Concert at National Geographic.                       6pm - Paul Beaudry & Pathways                                 7:15pm - Turning Pointe,
2010,11,6,FREE Concert,,white,red,,TRUE,FREE Concert at Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola.                     12:30pm - Paul Beaudry & Pathways                     2:30pm - The Student Loan,
2010,12,2,FREE Concert,,white, red,,TRUE,FREE Concert at National Geographic.                       6pm - Johnny Rodgers Band                                               7:15pm - Nasar Abadey and SUPERNOVA,
